    Good story

I liked this story. This was about a girl with a back injury falling in love with her surgeon. The story got even better when they finally got together. I could have done without the dom/sub aspect but since it was only mentioned briefly it was ok.

    Not a fan of submission

I love to read romance books but I dislike romance books that have submission an domination in them it destroys the book for me. But it would be a good book if it didnt have that in it.

    Creepy

The only good thing about this book is the unusual choice of having a character wheelchair bound (hence the 2 stars). It goes downhill after that.
The main male is a surgeon, quickly attracted to a new patient. He does major back surgery on her and visits her room the first night to "comfort" her. While she is on a morphine pump he kisses her. He visits her room again when she is off the morphine and does "everything but" resulting in her big "O". Oops, she just had back surgery so that doesn't work out so well. Sorry about that.

More dumb things happen then you find out he wants to dominate her. If you are into that, you might like that part. I kept hoping it would get better, but the creepiness never went away.

This is a very good read. It kept my attention until the very end, and I look forward to reading the rest of this series and more from Ms. Giroux.

Violet lost so much the day of the accident that she does not let herself get close to anyone. Having chronic back pain she seeks out the best surgeon for a consult. She never expected that meeting Dr. Michael Dennison would open her heart and make her desire him so much that she would do anything to have him love her. But he has always thought he’d live his life alone, so he’s not sure how to handle Violet’s affections. Can they put the past behind them for a possible future together?
