    A Must for Anyone in Interested in Design, Architecture and the Arts!

    Both scholarly and accessible, A History of the Future engagingly explains how major technological innovations led thinking and design. From the printing press to the green movement, Goodman provides a comprehensive overview of leading visions in architecture, film, art and industry and how they unfolded to create various eras of design. Political, historical and intellectual thought factor into her analysis, affording an interdisciplinary understanding. The book is engaging as well as informative. A must have for anyone interested in any of these fields. Could work for coffee table, reference or text. A fabulous launch for those pondering the future.
