This is an absolute wonderful ending to the Promise Harbor Seri

This is an absolute wonderful ending to the Promise Harbor Series. Erin Nicholas did an amazing job answering the question "Where's Allie?". And Gavin was that answer. Oh, how I love an Erin Nicholas hero!

There are four books in this series that takes one event (a wedding) and shows it to readers from four different points of view.

This final installment of the Promise Harbor Series is about the run away bride, Allie and the love of her life, Gavin. We meet Allie and Gavin in the first book in the series, Jilted. We are left only knowing that Gavin has swept Allie away.
In Hitched, Allie is happy to let Gavin distract her from the stresses for the moment, but Gavin wants to prove to Allie that he can be more than a happy distraction. He can be the man that she depends on for everything, all the time.

I love Erin Nicholas's voice. One of the things that I can always depend on when reading one of her stories is that voice. You are not simply reading the story, you feel like you are experiencing the story. Another thing I can always count on is her humor. Who doesn't love a book that can make you giggle and laugh out loud? And most of all I always fall in love with her heroes. Hitched was no different.

I highly recommend this book and the entire Promise Harbor Series.

Such a great book and way to wrap up the series! Read other books by this author. They are great and steamy.

Hitched is the fourth and final story in the Promise Harbor Wedd

Hitched is the fourth and final story in the Promise Harbor Wedding series and my absolute favorite. We finally get to see who Gavin and Allie really are, and why he was not willing to let her marry Josh. Gavin and Allie may not have made many people happy due to what happened at the wedding, but I could not help cheering for them as they take some time to deal with all the emotions of trying to decide what they really want, and whether it includes them being together. We also get to follow up with everyone from the previous stories to see what they are up to.

Allie is about to marry the best guy in the world but the only problem is that she loves him as a friend, not as a husband. She’s only loved one man, but because she was taught that family always comes first she walked away from him a few years ago. She has taken care of her father and brothers on her own since the loss of her mother shortly after leaving that one man, but she is so tired of being responsible for everyone else. She’s been dating a longtime family friend for quite a while, and he knows that taking care of her family is very important to her. Josh has always known exactly how to help her take care of them when she could not do it on her own, and he’s always been there every time she’s needed him. When he proposed marriage to her she accepted knowing it was the best thing for everyone.

Gavin left Promise Harbor many years ago, and swore that nothing would ever make him go back. He’s making a great life for himself in Alaska, but when he hears that Allie is getting married he knows that she is the one reason that would make him return. He has never stopped loving her, and there is nothing he won’t do to stop the wedding. Can he convince Allie to leave with him before she says the words that will keep them apart forever?

Allie is so shocked to see Gavin that she cannot believe he is real until he literally sweeps her off of her feet and carries her away. Exhaustion, stress and intoxication finally overtake her, and when she wakes up it’s to find out she’s in his bed, in Alaska. Is there any chance that Gavin can reawaken her feelings for him, and make her realize that she wants to be right here with him for the rest of their lives?
