    Good Times, Good Memories

So much fun - I cannot believe all the memories that come up as I do this. I think it will be a real gift for my children and grandchild to read someday. Much better, for me, than journaling or a diary. And, again, so fun. Great gift!! Oh, and I turn 60 this weekend so this is a hoot for me (the bands I have seen, old TV shows, best purchases, friends books). Oh, I could go on and on ....

    A fun present

I gave this away to a friend who was turning 40, who asked for "no gifts" at his party. I wrote "suggestions" or humorous memories on some of the lists. I thought it was great gift 1) to have someone think about various aspects of their life in a postitive manner; 2) for me (the gift giver) to share some memories of our friendship.

    A reviewer

As the christian bible and other religious texts were quite often the repository for a list of births and deathsand marriages in the pre-digital age for families, so now we have a turn, in a more secular world, for a personal repository with an ease of use like a diary, a mildly directed organization, quirky yet believable illustrations, and a quite comfortable rejection of the InterNet that requires only a pencil and your own thoughts: no need to blog here. A well done handy personal book that generations later may enjoy holding and reading more than admiring Grandma's old keyboard sitting on the mantle. Writing , singling, annotating in your own voice may be dimmed by the Internet and its ubiquity but, this inexpensive book takes us back from the vicarious to the personal.

    Guided Journal for Beginners

I had fun going through this and making the lists that were requested. I found that a lot of the lists got me reminiscing and led me to really spend some time thinking about my past and the things I've done and gone through. I was looking for a guided journal to help me with therapy and found this. I was a little hesitant about whether this book of lists would be helpful, but I found that it really was. It could be used as a "fun" thing or something to help start a longer journalling activity.

    as a gift

I bought this as a b'day gift for a friend who is wanting to write her autobiography. I thought it would help organize her thoughts and she could go from there.
    She likes it.
