Second Grade reader's and writer's workshop of Freddy Series

My second grade class loves to hear of the adventures that Freddy will take them on. This book focused on what happens when you don't do your home assignments in a timely fashion. The children can relate to the text in many ways, the bully and the best friends along with the help from Freddy's sister bring more reality to the story. The book is great for a prompt during a writer's workshop or reader's workshop. The students love to make predictions of Freddy's next move. In this story my class predicted that he would hurt himself but they were surprised when he broke a body part!

a mom who LOVES this series

I bought this book for my 1st grade son through a book club at school. Thought we'd take a chance on a new series. What a find!!! My son can't wait to read them at bedtime. We recommend them to everyone we see. As an added bonus, every other page, has a picture on it and hidden somewhere in the picture is the word 'fin'. After we read the page, we try to find the word. the only down side is that only 3 books are out right now, but a 4th one is coming, days after Christmas. Buy all 3 books - you'll go through them very fast!
