If you're going to read one book on poverty 'from a Christian perspective', then this would be a great choice. It's not about one problem or one solution, it's about the whole issue and how we can understand and respond to it. It's very people-focused and positive and is more about transforming the reader and their mind than pushing the author's ideas or laying guilt and duties on everyone. Great read.
