If u r looking for a happy story, read all of this book except the end. I waz terribly sad at the end of the book. And wish i cud rip out the ending and write a happy one. The signs were wrongly read by me, and i thought the book wud end happy because of how cheerful the rest of it wuz. But no, break our hearts y dontcha? Yes, i recognize many great books are sad, but those books end good despite the fact they r sad. This book looked promising to me, and i thought if it wuz longer with sum more detail, it wud b fantastic. But no book can b that great with a ending as sad as this one is. As i said b4, if u r looking 4 sumthing happy, read all of this book except the end.

    Sweet and sad

Endearing little Wild West story of Buffalo Bill's horse and the delightful little girl who befriends him. There is a fairly graphic description of a bull fight that will make readers agree with the horses who overhear it that, yes, humans are brutes. Some typos, but nothing too difficult to get through. The inclusion of the musical notation for the different bugle calls used in the fort is an interesting touch.
