Awesome!!!

I have read many books, but not a Romance book before. I picked up the book for a trip to read in the car. Best book I have ever read!!!!!! I fell in love with this book immediately. I sat there just about the whole trip reading. You couldn't stop turnning the pages. It was great. You all need to read it.

So good!

I love the character developent that progresses through the series. If you like historical romance with the nice addition of a series, you will like these! Strong, funny heroines :)

Excellent read!

this book was really good! The story line was excellent, and so were the characters. However, it did get a bit slow in places. I can't put my finger on why or how, but it seemed to take awhile to get from point A to point B a lot of the times. Also, sometimes the author spent a bit too much energy on imparting historical details, and those parts were a bit tedious to read. But overall, the book was excellent! i finished it a satisified reader and look forward to reading the rest of the trilogy. I definately reccomend the novel.

After reading a book of Jane Feather's, I went to my bookstore and bought the next book.And I am a person who loves reading books and have stacks of novels at home.

This book was one of the best i've ever read. when it ended i just wanted more and i really suggest you read all three trio. THEY ARE GREAT!!!

Instantly wrapped into the story

Historical Romances have been my passion for over 20 years. I had not read Jane Feather before but truly enjoyed this book a great deal. I am now anxious to get to finish her 'bride' triology and then move onto her other books. I really loved this book... was sucked right into the story and adored the characters from the moment I met them, then sailed through this book unable to put it down. A great read!!

Wickedly charming!

A different twist to a love story, and one that you won't easely forget! Portia is now one of my favorite caracters. She has much spirit!

Well-Written Page-Turner

I've been reading romance novels for over two decades, so believe me when I tell you that Hostage Bride delivers the goods: three-dimensional characters, interesting historical period, fast-paced plot, and great love scenes. You'll love the polite bandits and the skinny, scrappy heroine.
