Sloppy editing spoils a well presented book.

The book was let down by very poor copy editing. It is full of sloppy errors such as transposed headings, 'p206/7' photos 'the engines on pages 12 and 13', and specifications 'engine capacities on pages 148 and 149'. It also expresses writers opinions that are not supported by facts, such as the Toyota Supra '..a superb engine...displaces a mere 3 litres...'(p 123) and '...a smaller capacity unit than the Nissan's lump.'(p120) The Nissan Skyline it is being compared with has a 2.5 litre engine with a higher specific power. These are only a few of the mistakes I found - they are all over the place. e.g we are expected to believe that the Dodge Viper is powered by a 30cu inch engine on page 145!. There are also real omissions. No Mitsibushis, Subarus or any other rally cars. A comparison between an Evo and a WRX would have been great. No Aussie muscle cars like E49 vs GTHO Phase IV, or Monaro vs Torana.
