This book is a perfect example of why I am VERY picky when it comes to purchasing romance novels. I know what I like and this definitely is not it. I should have know this was your typical novel when the author stated the following: The heroine, Zaria was 5'10 with the perfect body, her best friend had green eyes, the Hero (Kaleb) was tall with a muscular body to die for. Kaleb's family: all the brothers names begins with a 'K' and they had the PERFECT wives and children. His parents are still madly in love with each other for over 30 years. Kaleb is envious of his brothers because he has not found the perfect girl and he wants a family just like theirs. Should I go on??? I read a lot and stories like this has no depth or substance, just a lot of sex. I am so glad I got this book using the "Lend Me" feature. I do not recommend to those who are seasoned readers.

a great addition to the series

I enjoyed reading this story. It was definitely hot and steamy but realistic. Ms. Bryant always keeps it real (not quite fairy tale). That's what I love about this story and all of her others. Must read!

"The Hot Spot delivers unabashed passion that heats up the pages of this unforgettable story."

"Twenty-one years ago Zaria Ali married Ned, her high school sweetheart. She thought her marriage and life was fine until she learned of her husband's infidelity. Zaria was devastated when Ned left her to be with a younger woman." "Now their daughters, Neema and Meena are in college living on their own and Zaria finds herself ready to move on with her life. She feels that she missed out on a lot after getting married at eighteen and being forced to become an adult." "Her best friends, Hope and Chanci offer her support as she attempts to take charge of her independence. Zaria takes on a new career as a bartender. Soon after she meets Kaleb Strong an attractive younger man. The chemistry between them is explosive, but will it be lasting. Kaleb's age may become a deal breaker when it comes to getting Zaria to commit fully to a life together." "Niobia Bryant enthralls readers once again with her ability to create stories that are relatable and intriguing. The Hot Spot delivers unabashed passion that heats up the pages of this unforgettable story."

Well, I liked it ....... a lot Well I liked it.... a lot

I enjoyed Kaleb and Zaria's story. I love the family series. Catching up with the brothers and Kaleb's parents. It is great light reading...not The Power Broker or anything....interesting, entertaining and fun.

I enjoyed this story. It's so realistic, and reflects how older women view themselves after a divorce. I great read.
