I think it might have been better titled, 'An Hour to Live, A Lifetime of Love'. I was so lucky to find two copies left on the B&N bookstore shelf. I gave one to myself as a Christmas gift and gave the other as a gift to a friend who is an 'angel among us', kind and giving to everyone. This book is so small but packs a punch. It offers so much for you to think about, but basically tells you to stop and realize that all you can be sure of is right here and now, so live each and every moment to the fullest, and don't wait for chances to do things better tomorrow. Sometimes tomorrow doesn't come. Find what is most valuable to you, what matters the most in your life, and wrap yourself around it.

    provoking, sobering, ...a pure joy

I am happy at the least, that there are other men who love as deeply, conciously, ...'as if there is no tommorow'. Richard has given some of us, as men, the gift, solidarity, ...and the unique perspective of what being truly committed means. I feel, even more so, that this read furthers the acknowledgment and validation we need ...to encourage loving ourselves and others, in all we do, ...in every hour. Thank you! H.garcia

I had waited for this book and once I found it I couldn't put it down. I laughed, I cried, and mostly I appreciated this celebration of life. The book is a must read..I plan to purchase many additional copies for everyone I know. This book puts into words what I have always felt, you never know when your last hour, your last minute will come. So it must always be said to the person you love, the true feelings of your heart. I have my soulmate and I could totally relate to this book. It is a book I would recommend to young couples just starting out, as a reminder of what a blessing the true meaning of love is. It was very touching and poignant.

    Powerful Message for What's Important

One of the most loving, honest, thought provoking books I've ever read. These few pages that pack a powerful message about what really matters in life and what our legacy really should be as well as a loving message to Kristine about their years together.
