Best fantasy series I've ever read!

I bought book 1 b/c I was away on business and bored out of my mind sitting in a hotel room at night. That said, I had read books 1 and 2 by the time my 4 day conference was complete and had bought and read all 6 books within two weeks. Zoey's character was well developed and addictive. I couldn't put the books down once I got started, and read the last two cover-to-cover in a day. In my opinion, this series surpasses the Twilight saga (and that's saying A LOT b/c I'm a serious Twi-hard). I loved the drama of teenage angst as well as the end-of-the-world situations the gang constantly found themselves in. Definitely worth the investment to me as I intend to read them again and again.

    Not like anything else!

I wasn't so sure about these books when I first looked at them online. I ordered them anyways and started reading them right away. I'm about 100 pages away from finishing the 6th book and I already have the 7th pre-ordered! I absolutely love these books! There's no sparkling vampires, even though I loved the Twilight Saga, and it's more realistic in a sense. I would highly recommend this series and I hope that there are more books that will become a part of this series!

    Surprisingly Good

This box set introduces a new world of humans and vampiers. It opens a world where vampiers are just another part of the world and have always been, not really accepted but expected. The first book 'Marked' is a little slow at the beginging but picks up when Zoey ends up at the House of Night. The problems facing Zoey as she starts to go through the change to find a place to just fit in as all of us want to do. The second book 'Betrayed' focus on Zoey having to cope with her past and present. The decisions that she needs to make could effect her relationships with her new life. The third book 'Chosen' Zoey is minipulated in to confessing some of her secrets only to have everything blow up in her face. In the fourth book 'Untamed' Zoey takes the bull by the horns and faces her problems head on with a sledgehammer and we all know how well that works out. This series deals with teenage angst and teaches a lesson with each book on how our decisions effect all of those around us. It is a nice easy an enjoyable read.

    I love the whole series.

This series is one of my favorite vampire series. I have read the books over and over again. If you like teen vampire books this is one of the best series out there. This one is my second of all that I have read and I have read alot. The characters are relateable and you get caught up in the struggles of the characters. The plot is unpredictable and keeps yo uhooked. I finished every one of the books in 1 day apiece.

I am on the third book in the series it is very good and it keeps the readers interested in what this young fledgling will do next. I like the characters they are very practical in todays world. I cried like a baby in betrayed.

I did cry while reading betrayed, an important characher dies and i have grown close to my charachters. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series to find out what Zoey Redbird will do next. I am also excited about Zoey's tattoos she aquires every time she accompliches something major. I also find it refreshing to see alot of in the now things going on or being written about in the stories for example in the first book Zoey made a reference to the movie French Kiss and this is one of my all time favorite movies. I have fun sharing this details and this book with my sister and also a friend at work has already read the entire series after reading Marked ( and i loaned her marked so now she is hooked).

    Great Series

I have read all of the books that have been published in this series. These are some great books. Most people that would be interested in these books are teens, young adults and adults that are interested in vampire books. The series is about a young fledging that is a coming of age book. There are many different storylines going on at once, love, growing up, loss of loved ones, etc.. Can't wait for the next one to come out.

    Very good

I love the idea behind the tattoos in this series and how they are made. This is a very good vampire romance for the young adults and those of us who enjoy letting our imaginations in romance do the walking. Lots of drama and action in this series... a wonderful read all around

These books are to DIE for... they kept me up all hours of the day, I can't seem to put it down. The only time I'd take a short break was to eat or use the bathroom...

    Another amazing series

I bought this boxed set for my daughter based on the reviews comparing it to the Twighlight series which my 16 year old and I both enjoyed. She read rapidly through the series and had to immediately purchase the "next one" several times! I found these to be fairly quick, easy and interesting to read. It is a slightly new twist to the usual vampire legends, and not too dark or too sexual for a young teen or pre-teen to read.
