great "catchy" book
This book in the series is great and the story and rhyming is so cute and catchy! I first bought "How do Dinosaurs say I love you?" for my 3 yr old granddaughter who loves dinosaurs. She loved it and wanted it read again and again! Then she asked her parents for this one in the series (she saw it on the back cover) She loves them so much she has memorized them, and now she reads them to us! She has the whole series.

Wonderful Bedtime Story
My son loves animals and you can't get any bigger than a dinosaur. This book is a great bedtime story that's unique and imaginative. Wonderful illustrations and a curious story. He always likes the pictures as I read to him at night.

Great story for bedtime!!!
My 4 year old son has us read this to him every night before going to bed. My son, husband and I all act out the parts on each page and we all get a kick out of it. He's been read this book so much that he is now reading it to us from memory! It's a great book!!! We are now working on buying all the "How do dinosaurs....." books.

Grandson loves this book
I bought this for my grandson (2 1/2 yrs) and he loves it. Asks to have it read at least twice each time and loves to look and inspect all the pictures in the book.

My Granddaughter loves dinasaures in all shapes and sizes. I was drawn to the book because of this, but reading the book proved fun and instilled the message of good behavior in a light hearted way.
The illustrations, colorful pages, and the story with lessons proved to be a perfect gift for my 3 and 1/2 year old granddaughter. We laughed and learned together while reading aloud. This is a definite rereadable book for bedtime. I recommend this book for young children and not so old grandparents.

Unexpected Treasure
This was the first thing I bought after finding out I was going to be a Grandmother...it was an accidental find at the store I was working in at the time, and I loved the illustrations and story!! Now, my nearly 2 year old grandson absolutely loves it! I have since added to his collection with more books by this author and intend to continue until he has them all. Jane Yolen and Mark Teague make a great team and they have two more fans!!

Great Series
This is one book in a series of the 'How Do Dinosaurs' books. I purchased this book with the plush 14 inch dinosaur doll, and my four year old nephew loves both doll and book. He gets to interact with the dinosaur doll as his mom/dad reads the book with him. Great lessons learned in each of the series books.

Appealing
This series teaches lessons so often overlooked today. As a grandmother and an elementary school teacher, I see a real need for books like these. The stories are delightful and amusing while teaching some very necessary lessons.

Great book
I bought this book for my two and a half year old because he was really into dinosaurs. That was Christmas 2008 and he still loves this book. He now takes it out by himself and turns the pages and reads it to you. He is only three and a half and can't really read but he has every word on every page memorized so it really looks like he is reading. It's a great book. I paid $18 for it and I thought that it was a little on the pricey side for a child's book or even for an adults book the way the economy is.I am planning to buy one every few months, and we will have them all.

Excellent Book
I didn't think my 6 month old would even care about this book when he rec'd it. He has loved it from the moment he got it!!! Of course I make up some of the story. I think I might laminate it because we read it so much and he "looks through it" quite often.

A reviewer
This book is a must for bed-time reading. We took it on vacation and must have left it at the vaca home. Been reading 'How do dinosaurs play with their friends'. She likes this, but knows it is not the same. I even tried to read the other words with this book (scary to have read it so often I have it memorized):) Will be purchasing this book again today.:)

What a fun 'goodnight' book for kids
I and my son both love dinosaurs and I and my son both love this book, but I and my son don't like when it's time for him to go to bed because he never wants to. This book has helped somewhat because he can relate to creatures he really loves, and since they are portrayed (anthropomorphically) as human children, he tends to do as they do. Also, each prehistoric creature is named in the beautiful illustrations so kids learn what they are.

how do dinosaurs
5.) How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight is a rhyming children¿s picture book. I really enjoyed this book. The illustrations were really good and any child would love them. This is also part of a series such as, How Do Dinosaurs Clean Their Rooms? Jane Yolen attended Smith College where she became a star writer. She then moved to New York City where she became an editor. She has written over 250 books. This would be for a kindergarten or first grader. Yolen, Jane. How Do Dinosaurs Say Goodnight? Blue Sky Press. 2000.

2 and 4 yr old daughters love these books!
My daughters like Dora, anything pink and ballet but fell head-over heels in love with the dinosaurs, especially when they are acting bad. During dinner, we remind them 'Does a little girl dinosaur pout at the dinner table?' and have a good laugh. The books reinforce good manners in a fun way.

Newest Favorite
My 18-month old son LOVES this book! It is his new favorite and he wants us to read it to him over and over. I just barely close the book and he hands it to me again. I am getting the other books in the collection to give this one a little break.

Absolutely the Best Book
Some books I cannot stand reading over and over but this one I absolutely love to read and find myself reciting it to myself during the day. The illustrations are very cute and have little clues within them. My family will never get tired of this book.
