Great Book every school should have one

My children are gluten intolerant. They love this book, particularly my 4 year old who says it is about him. It has made a difference in our lives and help educate their classmates about how their diets are different and that they can't always share food etc. Love this book.

    Highly recommended!

I bought this book for my sister's daughter who is allergic to wheat. It is a very good children's book that helps children understand how to cope with their sensitivities in a light-hearted and whimsical manner.

    Wonderful book!

This book is a must-have for any families dealing with gluten-intolerance. It is so difficult for young children to understand why they have to eat different foods than their friends and family members. Ms. Fine's book presents a delightful explanation and is educational for children and adults alike!

    This is an outstanding book!

I bought 'How I Eat Without Wheat' immediately upon hearing about the release of it. I have celiac disease and so do several of my friends, as well as their children. As a premed student, I think this is a must have for any bookshelf. It helps children understand what they are going through with a disease. It also explains what their friends might be going through as well. The brightly colored pictures are beautiful. The rhyming scheme is catchy and it is simply a wonderfully written book. I don't even have kids and I wanted a copy!

Explains "Why" in a cheerful, kid-friendly manner.

Young children are not small adults, and explaining "why" and "why not" regarding dietary limitations needs to fit a child's perception of good health and habits. This book does an excellent job of putting the reasons for gluten-free food into a context to which a small child can easily relate.

    Love It!

Just purchased this book because my family has gone gluten free recently. The illustrations are cute and fun. The message is simple and helps kids and parents understand that there are many options for those of us that can't have wheat or gluten. I love that this book is spreading awareness! Both my kids enjoyed this book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone that is facing the gluten free challenge.

"How I Eat Without Wheat" is a great book for kids, or anyone really, who has been recently diagnosed with gluten intolerance or Celiac disease. Fun pictures and an entertaining story on healthy eating. Highly recommended!
