    "Cute and Cuddly Counting Help"

How Many Baby Pandas? is the perfect tool for an interdisciplinary lesson in the classroom. Sandra Markle uses these cute baby pandas to teach young children how to count. At the same time they get a look into the special world of an animal that most of them have probably never seen before, and the research center that gives them a home until they are strong enough to be released into the wild. Through this book the children also get to see how the baby pandas live and grow. Not only is this book a great educational opportunity for students and teachers alike, but the intimate photographs make this a loving addition to any classroom library. (Designed for grades K-3)

Great book to share with a child...

I loved this book, I had the pleasure of sharing it with my 8 year old daughter. She enjoyed the pictures and the information shared for the pandas throughout the literature. This is not only a great counting book for young children it is a great picture book in my opinion. At the Wolong Giant Panda Breeding Center, we are taken on the journey of these pandas lives, it was very interesting with facts even I as an adult was unaware of. I highly recommend this book.

    Very Information, educational, and fun!

This book is an Orbis Pictus award Book. How Many Baby Panda's was such a fun and informational read. I loved all the baby Panda pictures and all the great information given on the Pandas, that located at the Wolong Giant Panda Breeding Center. The book takes you on a journey of a baby panda's life stages, what their obstacles are and their routines. At the end of the is book is all sorts of information on the Breeding Center, it has an Author's note, Digging Deeper, and where Giant Pandas live. The information can be used as an educational tool and this can help children understand how many panda's there were and how many there are now in the current population and why do they need a breeding center in the first place. I would recommend this book for all ages and it can be used in many different ways for many different reasons. This was a great read, loved it.
