How One Book Can Bring You Back in Control...

I bought this book at the end of a relationship and wished I had had this book during our time together. This book emphasizes focusing on the positive of the relationship and just letting the problems go. I felt I could have been more in control of my feelings in the relationship by just letting go of the things that were bothering me and appreciating the wonderful man that I had. The relationship I was trying to save is over; however, I was able to salvage a relationship that I had been neglecting...the relationship with myself. To get everything you can out of this book, be sure and work through the 'experiments' and write it out. You'll be amazed at the observations you may find. I still go back and review what I wrote and it makes me feel better. I know that I won't make the same mistakes again!

    Don't pay for common sense

While the concept is solid, there are no great insights here. You will also wade through long messes of unicorns and sunshine drivel to find these little jewels.
Basics, treat your spouse like you love and appreciate them, no matter how annoyed you are. It's a fake it 'til you make it strategy for rebuilding your feelings and relationship.

    Very helpful

I work as a spiritual director and meditation therapist. Often I will see someone who is unhappy with his or her primary relationship but the other person involved does not want to participate in any overt or conscious effort to improve matters. This is just the book to offer. I order several at time so that I can always have one or two on hand in my office to hand out.

Honestly this book saved my marriage and we are the happiest we've ever been!

This book is truly amazing. When I began reading this book my husband and I were in the process of getting divorced (we each had lawyers). We had gone to counseling together, tried talking things out, and I had read other relationship books but nothing worked. Then a friend gave me this book. The strategies not only saved my marriage, but also made me a better person. At first you may already be so frustrated in your current situation that you think you should not be the one trying these strategies. But once you just give them a simple try you will be truly amazed at the quick and lasting results. I can¿t say enough wondeful things about this book and what it has done for our marriage.

Just What I Needed to Hear

This is by far the best relationship book on the market. And I have read a few. If you are ready to accept some hard truths about yourself and are ready to make changes, this is the book for you....
