How Strong Women Pray is about what most of us have used along our life¿s journey: prayer. The remarkable aspect of the book is that GOD shares with each reader how to find and live your life¿s purpose through the use of prayer, faith, focus and follow-through. I feel the women highlighted in the book are chosen instruments who attest to Matthew 19:26, ¿With man this is impossible, but with GOD all things are possible,¿ no matter what situations are theirs to face. Looking back at the history of prayer, women have been the first and strongest believers. Look at Mary, Mother of Jesus. She believed, ¿You are highly favored - the Lord is with you.¿ Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary (mother of James) received the message that ¿Jesus is not here: He has risen! These are situations of testament that took faith and prayer to believe. The women sharing the testaments of faith and their specific prayer petitions, beliefs, requests and testimonies bring hope to the hopeless, light to the dark and joy to the soul of the reader. How Strong Women Pray will lead you into the inner recesses of the lives of Maya Angelou, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton, Kathy Lee Gifford and Susan Taylor, who are among the well-known. The prayers of others, who are not so well-known, share the kindred spirit with the well-known along with you and me, ¿belief that their prayers are heard by GOD.¿ So as we worry about our promotions, careers, families, health, the environment and longevity, I recommend that we take a pause and listen to the prayers of others, which will put our own into perspective. Learning more and more about prayer

Tis book is a good one to read showing that even famous people have problems and need prayer. We are not all alone. The stories are interesting and an easy read. I will probably turn to this book time after time just to remind myself that we are all just children on this earth and prayer should be a part of our daily life. Great read.
