Basic "Bare-Bones" 1st-Year Teacher Reference
I'm going to start teaching Elementary school after being at the Middle school level for 4 years and I wanted to get an idea of some of the more "elementary" concepts that I needed to be prepared for. This book definitely fit that role. But it is NOT a completely comprehensive reference. Most of that comes with experience, which I'm looking forward to learning :)Was this review helpful? Very Beneficial-Many Great Ideas!
This text is so much help to a new teacher. It gives practical answers to real issues at the start of a teaching career. It is so comprehensive that it covers everything from desk placement, to behavior management techniques, to center ideas. To top it all off there are great pre-printed charts and tools that you can copy or just rip right out of the book. It is a great find! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
