    An engaging Christmas tale with Russian folk customs

    This educational book combines charming Christmas characters from Russia with the usual North Pole gang, a bit of suspense, and a simple lesson I'm happy for my 3- year-old to read for years to come. The detailed folkart illustrations captured her from the first reading.

    wonderful book

    this is an exquisitely illustrated russian christmas tale--perfect for any family who has adopted a russian child, or any family with kids. Would make a nice package with a set of nesting dolls.
