Satiric Reading for Reality Fans
Montag and Pratt cautio...Read More
Montag and Pratt caution, "if you fail to churn out the drama that got people interested in the first place, you're doomed to never see your sixteenth minute [of fame]." Thankfully, How to be Famous reveals how to keep churning out the drama for future Enquirer stories. With illustrative chapter teachings on: Your Point of Entry; Spencer's Guide to Playing the Villain; Heidi's Guide to Playing the Bombshell; Pretty on the Outside; The Paps are Your Friends; Tell Your Story; Couple Power; Building Your Brand; Getting Work Done is Your Job; and Famously Ever After, you too can be tabloid fodder.
How to Be Famous is a quick, glossy, satiric read (I read it from start to finish on a two hour plane flight and had time to spare) for the You Tube generation.

Heidi and Spencer are hilarious in this too-good-to-be-true book. They seem to be poking fun at themselves, which is awesome. Love the author bio! Haha..

Satiric Reading for Reality Fans
How to be Famous by Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt is a tongue-in-cheek guide for would be tabloid stars. As the authors gush, "whether you love us, hate us, or love to hate us, there is a recipe for infiltrating Hollywood, and we've got it."

You can probably skip this one unless your a fan of Speidi
I read the book out of curiosity. I can't believe these guys were able to get a book deal and that my public library carries more than 5 copies of this book! It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Fans of Speidi will probably appreciate it though. I'm glad I didn't spend any money on this book and was able to satisfy my curiosity via the library.

Cannot believe this book exists
I think it's sad our society pays attention to such low class and dim-witted people such as these two.

Famous?
Famous for what? Neither has contributed anything at all to the world! Let's hope that they DO NOT reproduce and quickly fade to obscurity.

Wow! This looks absolutely horrible!!
I can't believe they managed to get this piece of garbage published! I feel bad for the trees that had to be cut down to create this "book." Ick!

I agree
Why would anyone waste one dime on what these 2 have to say or find it even interesting!!! Both appear to be shallow, self-absorbed and so full of themselves thinking they are "star" quality material. I for one am sick to death of seeing them grace the covers of magazines, TMZ, etc. The "reality" is they truely bring nothing to the table, but their selfish need to keep slapping the public in the face with their full-of-themselves persona!!!!

why would you buy this book?
Why would anyone buy this book and contribute money to these people? They act like they are actually celebrity's or that anything she has to say is something useful. Save your money-donate it too a church..it would be put to better use.
