Finally, the answers to why we stay when it's bad...

If you are completely at a loss for why you would stay with a person who you know is bad for you, this book will give you the answers you need - and it does it in a way that is sensitive and real. This is NOT just generlized feel-good psycho babble. This book accurately and honestly gets to the heart of the problem and, best of all, shows you how to recognize and have victory over the mysterious power that keeps you trapped in a painfully unfulfilling relationship. You will be amazed how the author has been able to accurately describe YOUR situation, the feelings you are having and what you can do about it. I found myself saying over and over again; 'That's me!' or 'That's my partner'. This book will give you what you need to be set free of the bondage of Attachemnt Hunger. You will want to read it again and again.

    more from this reviewer

I borrowed this book from a friend because I'm always interested

I borrowed this book from a friend because I'm always interested in learning more about human behavior. The first chapter seemed promising then the next one was a bore. It seems a little outdated in the presentation, but the information is very good overall. It give concrete examples and practical solutions. I think it would definitely help someone identifying themselves as addicted to another person, and if you're not sure there is a check list right at the start to help your identify where you stand on the matter.
