Operation: Crossover 3--Chapter 15

((To all: Even I need holidays. I just took a little break from writing. Oh yeah, and shame on all of you!! XD. I just now realized that my last chapter and the chapter before it were both chapter 14. Oops. Dang, that's gonna make things he<_>ll if the results ever change.))
((Oh yeah, and about Ash: HE'S ALREADY OVERUSED!! Trust me, he will not be part of my story. Ever.))
Before the agents could go about their plan, Skales had grabbed Robyn with his long tail, and began to crush her in his coils. "Haahaahaa!!" The snake laughed. Loki ran fowards at Toph, who raised a wall of stone to stop him, but was caught off-guard when the real Loki appeared behind her, and stabbed her through with his trident.
As Toph and Robyn both fell to he ground, Spike, Finn and Patomon knew they had already been defeated. Everyone else was incapable of fighting, Yu and Toph being injured the worst. They looked upon their fallen friends, and saw no hope.
"No. There's always hope!" Spike said. Patomon nodded. And they knew what they had to do.
Spike shot a massive beam of light from his hand, blinding the two baddies. "I can't ssssssee!!" Skales cried, running into Loki and knocking them both to the ground. As Loki got up, and the light cleared away, he laughed. "Is that all you've got?" But he was talking to thin air. The two little monsters had dissapeared!!
"By Odin's Beard...the little devils!!" He yanked Skales up. "They're heading for the portal!! After them!!" He pointed to the still-visible forms of Spike and Patomon, dashing for the portal. Loki and Skales lost no time in following them.
As the villans ran away, Spike nudged Patomon from underneath Robyn's unconcious body. Patomon got up. "It worked!! How'd you do that?" Spike grinned. "Well, I have light powers now, so I used them to create a mirage of us!"
Patomon looked at their fallen friends. "But now what? How will ww get them all the way over there?" Spike pondered this. "I have another idea. Patomon, help me think greedy thoughts!"
Patomon gave Spike a concerned look. "Um, I think Joker hit you harder on the head than it looked. How on earth will that help??" Spike shook his head vigorously. "Just do it!!" Patomon shrugged, and started. "Okay, think of big piles of gold, lots of jewels, all of them yours..." Spike shut his eyes, imagining the sight. He felt...happy. His tail suddenly grew heavier. It was working...
***
Loki and Skales were both panting, trying to catch up with their captives-to-be. "Almossst...there..." Skales hissed, totally out of breath. Loki just pressed on.
All of the sudden, the mirages vanished into thin air, leaving Skales bewildered and Loki furious. "Aagh!! Stupid!" He said. "How did a little dragon and his measly friend pull he wool over the eyes of the God of Mischeif himself??" He turned back to look at where the bodies of the other agents were, but all there was, was a massive purple dragon, flying with the aformentioned bodies of agents, into the portal.
