    Great guide book

Very well written, organized and ease to understand all the photography techniques. What I liked the most is the fact the author organize the photo categories and provides tips for each shot situation, even he tells you how to set the camera for a particular type of shot.

What also liked, are the photos that illustrates the whole book.

Great reading for the photography enthusiast and also for the amateur photographer that are willing to improve their shots.

Excellent Book - Really helps make your photographs spectacular

This is the 4th photography book I have purchased by this author. I have give two as gifts and kept two for myself. If you want to take your photos to the next level this is the book for you. The book layout is outstanding. Do you want to know tricks for taking great pictures of your dog? Then flip to the section dedicated to this. How about taking pictures of historic buildings that are different than the ordinary wide-angle shot that everyone takes. Well, flip that that section in the book. The book gives you ideas on how to look at your subjects differently. There are ideas that made perfect sense but until I saw it in the book I never thought of it.

The author focused this book towards the typical point and shoot digital camera. Don't be fooled though. If you use a D-SLR camera this book is still for you. If your using a D-SLR you should understand the basics of A-S-P-M. All you have to do is ignore the picture of the basic consumer camera and apply the lessons to your camera.

The hard part with this book is trying to remember it all. There is so much information its going to take me awhile. This book isn't designed to read starting at the front and ending in the back. This book is designed to help you in the specific areas of photography that you want help with.

Excellent buy and a must have for photographers that want to take their pictures to that next level of WOW.

Covers EVERYTHING! UNBELIEVABLE VALUE! 152% satisfaction! Min. requirements for this book? ONLY A SIMPLE POINT & SHOOT DIGITAL CAMERA (don't have one yet? The book can help you pick a camera that suits your needs,) AND DESIRE TO SHOOT BETTER PIC

Awesome fully comprehensive book w/ how-to for the novice, hobbyist or amateur. Tons of beautiful photos & inspiring ideas. I often flip through this as just a picture book. Can't really think of a subject matter not touched upon.

Easy to read & designed for use by digital virgins OR well-practiced amateurs. Instructions on how-to replicate examples are of use for ANY type of digital camera from your low-end point & shoot on.

This book shows you how-to take incredible photos often using the different auto-settings on your camera. Wait to invest that large sum of money on a DSLR until you've read this book!

The book starts out on the basics of digital cameras & breaks down many of the common cameras used today including Nikon Cool Pics. The book goes on to disuss how to photograph anything!

Throughout the book Ang touches on all the photography basics including manual settings, ISO speeds, lighting, flash, composure, digital editing & much more! I believe I would have had to buy a multitude of more expensive & likely technically "heavy" books to provide the information (and way past then some!) I was desiring.

Such an incredible value (ONLY 25 BUCKS!) and a MUST-READ manual to be referenced for years to come.
