How to Raise a Puppy You Can Live With

A very useful book

This book helped me with two puppies that showed up at our house unexpectedly. We had adult dogs show up or be dropped off at our house, but never dogs this young. It really helped me avoid some of the common problems and start them out right.

Can't put it down......

I've just purchased the book yesterday. After reading all the reviews I was convinced to purchase one myself. Excellent information, I like the way it's organized and easy to understand. Breaks down each stage of puppy-hood and development. Highly recommended for puppy owners, and breeders. I've only had it for a day and I can't put it down, I'm egar to learn more. I think this book goes alone well with dog owner's manuals of the breed your puppy is. If your getting a puppy soon or already have one, you need this book. More than likely it will save you, your family and your puppy alot of stress. Excellent, excellent book.

Extremely helpful!

I had never before raised a puppy, but my boyfriend and I decided to get a Cocker Spaniel puppy. This book was a valuable resource for me when I would get frustrated with my puppy's behavior. It explains the relationship between a puppy and a person very well.

A Fine Book

I've been mostly a cat owner, but for allergy reasons I'm now contemplating owning a dog. I had a couple of dogs years ago - one was a great dog, but the other who was adopted at age 3, did not do so well. This book has been a really big help to me; I can see some things that we should have done differently with our previous dogs, and I think following the advice here, a new puppy will be a happy experience for all.
