"How to Reach and Teach Children with Challenging Behavior" is a must-have resource for any K-8 teacher in today's school setting. The authors have translated decades of behavioral research into teacher-relevant language and provided current, real-world examples of how the featured behavioral support concepts and strategies work. The discussion questions and activities at the end of each chapter make this an excellent resource for use by PLCs who desire to positively impact school climate and student behavioral support. The "Success Stories" (Chapter 16) provide inspiration to employ behavior/social skill instruction and support as well as solid models of a variety of approaches for doing so. The reproducible tools included make implementation of the strategies completely "doable". I highly recommend this book!
