Good Read with lots of sopisticated wit
Theo Nestor takes the reader through the aftermath of a divorce without dwelling on blame or recrimination. She focuses, instead, on rebuilding her life as a single parent while navigating financial and social struggles in this unfamiliar territory. She does this with a sopisticated humor that makes her quite human. I loved her concept of the "rules people" and share her difficulty in understanding them. I would recommend this book to anyone who has been divorced, is in the process, or knows someone who has been through it. I guess that makes it a blanket recommendation! Was this review helpful? Also in the club
The title is fantastic, which drew me to the book. I've been in the club now three years since divorcing my husband of 33 years, who also was a gambler. Nestor writes candidly and with humor, making for a captivating read through a well organzied book. Great voice, open heart. Thanks. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
