much more then the title implies

I have read a great many books on cats and this one has to be one of the best. Not only does it easily explain how to toilet train your cat, but offers extremely insightful information on feline behavior. I have read larger and longer books that didn't come close to helping understand my cat.

    Some decent information here

Well, I dont know about 21 days, but then again if you have a well behaved cat and a LOT of patience, then maybe. I'm training 8 cats right now, and some of the information is the book is very interesting. A lot of info about behaviors and why cats do some of the things that they do. For the price, I'd say buy it...use some of the tips that work for you, and then a few months down the road laugh at the title (21 days..tee hee). But my cats are progressing along nicely, and I have used some tips I learned from the book, and some I've found on a mailing list (check Onelist.com under Toilet if you're interested, there's a lot of good people there to help walk you through the process and answer questions the book doesn't cover) But buy the book to get you started. Hey. It is possible. Like I said before, I've got 8 cats and on my 25th day of training I've only got inserts in the toilets. NO LITTERBOXES. All 4 of them are gone. That alone amazes me.

    Not very useful

The book is written some 20 years ago. So, things in the cat industry might have changed, which would excuse some of the Author's statements. However, somehow I doubt it. The book has a sensational tone to it, but as a cat owner, I know that some things are overdramatized, and others are just not true. This made me feel that the book is not well researched, and I decided not to take chances and not to risk causing unneeded stress to my cat. I'll continue to use the litterbox.
