Danny Elfman was brought in at the eleventh hour to get Universal out of a bind: they had no music for the film. Another composer had previously scored music but was rejected. To his credit, Elfman does a pretty good job. The "Main Titles" are moody, bombastic and present the split personality of the Hulk/Bruce Banner. "Captured" has a very Asian flavour and is surprisingly refreshing. "Hulk Out!" simply unleashes everything and may hurt those delicate little eardrums. "...Making Me Angry" is a tense build-up to the second occasion on which Bruce gets rowdy. "Hulk's Freedom" is a sterling piece of music, with Asian vocals, conjuring up images of Hulk soaring through the sky, celebrating his new-found and ultimately short-lived freedom. The "End Credits" is my favourite track - just turn up the volume real loud, sit back and listen - you'll soon understand why it's my favourite. All in all, a must-have for Hulk/comic-book fans and casual buyers alike! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
