A must-read when discussing sexuality issues
This book was originally written as a companion textbook to the author's course on Human Sexual Behavior at the University of New Orleans, and was originally titled 'Human Sexuality: a Louisiana Perspective.' The end of each chapter has a short quiz you can take to see if you understand the information. I would highly recommend that parents who are faced with discussing sexuality issues with children read this book before doing so. It is also a must-read if you're off to college or going out into the real world (though, some of the information is of a frank nature, it is very well written so as not to be offensive). If obtaining this book for a student, don't let anyone below High School age look at it- it's not appropriate for the younger ones unless the parent(s) read it with them. Was this review helpful?
