Tatyana Petrova is the youngest born in the Petrova family. There is 13 siblings. She has always had the ability to sense the future and has had a special connection to her brother Dimitre. Lately she is getting a sense of dread about Dimitre and strange visions that make no sense. These unsettling visions send her into the Catskills of New York to Dimitre’s new home…but on the way she breaks down in the middle of nowhere and must hike through a snow storm.

Hunter Finn, Sentinel of Willow Coven, has been called home. After cutting himself off completely from his coven family, he is returning a stronger and more powerful witch. Braen, the high priest of Willow Coven, has compelled him to return because he believes his coven is under attack from warlocks.

Tatyana, half frozen, falls into Hunter’s arms and the sexual attraction instantly ignites. Caught now in the middle of a magical battle, Tatyana is thrust into a world of magic she never realized existed.

Extreme evil, rape, and malicious intent is thrust upon Hunter, Tatyana and the Willow Coven by Hunter’s own family. Will he be able to save his coven family and Tatyana? Guess you’ll have to read Hunter and find out.

I loved the family dynamic of the Willow Coven and really enjoyed reading this story. Tatyana and Hunter have a wonderful sensual chemistry. Since this is a debut for this storyline there was a lot of plot building accented by intimate encounters. This is Jacquelyn Frank’s writing as JAX. Hunter is a much more sensual, erotic and highly sexual off shoot from her normal works. The sexual scenes are explosive and highly descriptive. If you enjoy a good erotic, paranormal romance check out Hunter. Great start to what could be a wonderful new erotic series.

This ARC copy of Hunter was given to my by Kensington Books in exchange for a honest review. This book is set for publication on April 30, 2013.

Not right!

This book was released in May 2013 last year. I read up to five books a week and I put new releases in my planner sometimes 6-8 months in advance. You can't return ebooks. I read the "coming soon" teasers at the end of the books so sometimes the plot sounds familiar....

I read the "coming soon" teasers at the end of the books so sometimes the plot sounds familiar. This re-release is unfair to those of us who already own the title and cannot return it!!! Books should not get new covers this soon. I am very disappointed in Barnes & Noble - the nook should warn us when we are buying a duplicate

I truly enjoyed this book for many reasons. I like that the men

I truly enjoyed this book for many reasons. I like that the men and women of the Willow Coven are strong and courageous, yet caring. They appreciate each other’s gifts not just in battling evil, but as friends. A perfect contrast to the evil warlock coven they are battling. There was mystery, tense drama and action mixed with irreverent humor. I grew to care about the characters. Tatyana is confident and quite humorous, a perfect match for Hunter, the assassin. The romance?....let me just say it hit all the points: tender, caring and hot sensuality. An all around good story and a must read!

    Awesome read!

I have really enjoyed Hunter and Tatyana's story. Hunter comes home after being gone from the coven for 10 years due to things that happened in the past. Tatyana is stranded and finally reaches the home where she is taken in by Hunter...Ryce..and Annali after being out in the cold. It only takes one look and Hunter can't seem to keep his eyes off the beautiful woman now in their care. Tatyana is completely taken with Hunter and trying to figure out why she is so drawn to him. Hunter is called home because the coven has been attacked and now he has the complication of a woman to add to the mix. The author did a great job with the telling their story. Many secrets are between them and Tatyana learns things about herself and her brother she had no idea about. It all comes together in an exciting storyline of mystery....danger....and of course there is the off the charts hot and steamy sexual tension between Hunter and Tatyana. I enjoyed the characters that made up the Willow Coven and how they each played an important role in this fantastic tale of witches. I highly recommend this book.

    Fabulous

I think this has been my favorite of all her work. I fell in llove with these characters, and i felt my self both laughing at the incredible dialog, and weeping at the intense scenes. What an enjoyable ride. I hope to see more of Willow Coven in the future.
