    Goes Down Smooth!

This is an excellent "quiet storm" type cd. Perfect for an intimate evening for two, dinner parties, or just chillin all alone. Eric delivers the goods as usual! I would have liked another duet ala Tamia's - spend my life with you, but maybe next time! This is a definite addition for your collection!

    Second Thoughts

Sounds like he really misses Halle and these sounds is a cry that he is hurting a little bit and may have some regrets sometimes

    "The eye of the storm"

I have never felt so much love and pain in the lyrics of a male singer before. Especially in "I Wanna Be Loved" and "Still With You." This is my first Eric Benet purchase but definately wont be my last.

    Simply Amazing

Lyrics that are tangible. The growth from his trials are woven into this musical project. I am enjoying listening to this CD.

    Worth the wait

Okay... so he is the lady's ex-husband... can we move on?! Eric has... and he is back as himself in perfect voice! This album is a must have for anyone who likes to vibe... excellent grooves for any summer day. Yes I am fan, I have followed Eric since his Benet days with sister Lisa and yes I was skeptical to his "comeback" but thank goodness he has! We have missed Eric. I still believe his best is yet to come but I think "Hurricane" is his best to date... this is just a key piece of his foundation. The production is excellent... thanks to such greats as David Foster, Walter A... and the usual suspects, George Nash Jr. and Demonte Posey, as well as Eric himself. I believe this album has been in the making for a while and this is the record he wanted us to hear. Eric stands his ground and lives up to his name... Eric Benet Jordan, the smooth and retrospective crooner he always will be. Thanks Eric! Job well done!

    Glad he's back!

Eric Benet is my favorite singer. This was a highly anticipated album, and once again, he delivered. You will love this album.

    A Beautiful Storm

Eric Benet's soulful voice can make you cry and inspire fans, just by the sheer emotion he injects into his music. His new album "Hurricane" is long awaited and is a shinning example of his great talent. Back from a 6 year hiatus (I'm sure fans are saying about time), Benet put together a shimmering gem for a third release. "Hurricane" is mostly ballad driven, which can weigh the listener down a bit, but each song shows off his vocal prowis perfectly. The style of the album varies with each track, taking a slight left turn from traditional R&B. Benet sings behind a lush backdrop of R&B,lite soul, acoustic and pop sounds, making "Hurricane" a well crafted mixed bag. With all the drama that's surrounded Eric Benet's life, those experiences has lead him to create an album both heart breaking and inspiring.

    Lovely

This has an Amos Lee R&B, chillin vibe - very contemporary and gentle - very musically lovely - especially "The Last Time" and "India" written for Benet's daughter.

    Best Yet!

This is by far the absolute best of Eric Benet. The music and the voice clearly demonstrates superb talent. It shines through with a calmness and confidence that shows he is definitely back. Welcome back Eric. This is a BEAUTIFUL piece. Every selection is more beautiful than the one before it. Don't change a thing.
