I purchased the Hutton Envelope in Noir to protect my nook while I travel. I like holding the nook while I read so I wanted an 'envelope' type cover rather than a cover that would attach the nook. The nook slides easily in and out of the Hutton Envelope and I'm happy with my purchase.
I've had the cover for a few days - and my initial impressions are that it was very well made, its handsome (in my opinion it looks better in person than in the pictures) and I believe it will do a good job of protecting my nook from scratches, dirt and the inevitable drop. The cover has a magnetic enclosure which has just the right amount of hold to it. The leather exterior is of good quality and should resist scratches well. The interior is a suede-like material and should also do a good job of protecting the nook.Show Less

Classy and Sleek
The Hutton Envelope in Noir is everything I was wanted in a nook cover; it looks good, it feels good, and it does its job. It is hassle-free and no nonsense; protects my nook, no more, no less. The leather is soft and smooth and makes me feel like I got my money's worth. The walls are sturdy and firm and I have a lot of confidence keeping this in my purse and knowing my nook is safe. I've owned mine for about a month and it's still in the same condition as when I bought it; the level of workmanship is as good as it gets.
If you are looking for a cover to hold your nook accessories, this is not for you. It's a snug fit and nothing else will fit inside of this except for your nook and maybe a few pieces of paper. If you are also looking for a cover that you can use while reading your nook, this is also not for you. Barnes & Noble offers plenty of other covers that will suit that purpose. But if you simply want something stylish and chic to protect your nook in transit and prefer to hold the e-reader itself in your hands while you read, this cover is perfect.14 out of 14 people found this review helpful.

Carry case it wonderful
The case is really great. It is sturdy without being bulky. It is stylish (as much as a leather envelope CAN be "stylish") The closure is secure. The case fits snugly which unfortunately precludes using the silicon frame protector because it will not fit into the case, but that's a small inconvenience and I've opted for the more secure protection of the case.

Great Stylish Protection for Your nook
I purchased the "Hutton Envelope in Noir", with my new nook ebook reader. It is very ridged and provides very good protection for the nook reader. I travel often and was concerned with the possibility of damaging the nook, tucked away in a pocket of my computer bag. No problem! With the Hutton Envelope it travels very well. This is an excellent accessory for your nook.

Hutton Envelope in Noir
I really like the cover and the way it protects my Nook. It appears to be of high quality and nice-looking. The only negative aspect is that the Nook fits so tightly in the envelope that I must remove my Silicon cover before using the envelope. When traveling that may be a little inconvenient.

The very best thing I have bought in a long time! It is strong, keeps my nook safe, and it's very convenient. No worries anymore! Very great product loved it!!! 100% would reccommend it for anyone!

Great
I love the hard envelope structure of this product. The fact that it is hard helps me not worry when I toss my nook into a carrying bag of other hard or heavy items. Of course, one must remove the nook entirely from this cover in order to read or charge it.

Elegant Cover
I purchased this knowing that my Nook would be arriving soon. It feels sturdy without being harsh in the hands. Nothing beats good leather. It reminds me of old books that are leather bound; very fitting since it protects the best e-reader on the block.

Too Snug for Nook WiFi
Sadly, my Nook Wifi will not fit into this beautiful case. It is a very nice case, but much too tight to accomodate the Nook WiFi.

Hutton Envelope
I was looking for a nook cover that would protect the nook including the ports while I was traveling. The nook fits snugly inside and pulls back out easily. I think my nook will be nicely protected when I have to quickly shove things into my backpack to catch my flight. I also think the Hutton looks and feels nice.

Exquisite Case
The Hutton Envelope is probably the best case for the NOOK, it is soft to touch and holds the Nook snugly. Retrieving the Nook is very easy, it slide in and out with no problem. I highly recommend it for those looking to purchase a cover for their New Nook.

Very nice, very sleek cover.
This cover has a very nice leather feel to it, and is very nice. It looks professional too, and would not look out of place carrying it around in a business suit.
