    Love this book!!!

I read this book for a class and was not looking forward to reading an additional book for the class. However, once I started reading it I could not put the book down. This book made me feel exactly what the Beht felt, it was so real! I think this book motivates people to try to help victims of domestic violence and become pro-active to create domestic violence prevention programs and awareness. I honestly have a new perspective thanks to this book not only on a personal level but professional perspective as well. I thank Beth for sharing her experiences and really open my eyes and I'm sure through her book she can help someone to built the courage to make a change in their life. I refered this book to friends and they have also been moved as well.

    Definitely Recommended!

I read this book about a year ago for a class and I absolutely recommend this book to anyone. This book made me look at domestic violence with different eyes. I now fully understand why some women stay in violent relationships even though many might be saying 'JUST LEAVE!' This book made me realize it is not always that easy. This book teaches you why you should never judge a person for their choices, because you truly do not understand until you have walked in that individual's shoes. This is a must read!

Excellent presentation at Cal State Fullerton

I recently had the honor of seeing Ms. Beth Sipe speak at Cal State Fullerton. She discussed her book and the rise of Domestic Violence in today's military and general populous. She was profesional, informative, and a strong voice against domestic violence. I would recommend this book to anybody interested in a grand tale of human survival.
