    Mostly honorable

The majority of the tracks on this album honor the songs of the Beatles. Cheryl Crow, Sarah McLachlan, Aimee Mann & Michael Penn and Chocolate Genius offer, hands down, the best cover recordings on the album.

The songs by Grandaddy and Nick Cave ought to be hidden in caves. They receive the "skip" button treatment when playing the CD.

Over all, I really enjoy this album and believe even John Lennon would appreciate the Chocolate Genius rendition of "Julia". Buy it. You'll enjoy it.

Its all good except for Nick Cave

All of the tracks are good on this cd except Nick Cave singing ''let it be''.Nick Cave is a fake. I don't know how they let this one make the cut. It sounds stupid, out of tune, without any feeling and totally uncool. Otherwise good

    OH BABY

Great songs, but I would have preferred the originals to covers...BEST MOVIE EVER, but I'd rather buy the Beatles 1.

    I Am Sam - A Real Winner!

I love this soundtrack - the Beatles were the soundtrack to my younger days and their music is timeless, as these covers prove. My favorite is Eddie Vedder's You've Got to Hide Your Love Away - it brings back all of the emotions I felt when I would hear John Lennon sing. What a treat!
