Fun Book with a LOT of mishaps!
This is the first novel I have read by Cara Lockwood and I have to say that I loved it! The storyline follows a wedding planner who has dealt with her share of wedding mishaps, while still dealing with her sleezy ex husband, a rude boss, and a kitty named whiskers. Can she find love through all this? Meet Nick, the sexy firefighter who seems to be engaged to the psycho bride Darla... Well things arent always what they appear to be and Lauren Crandell learns this firsthand through this hilarious book. The only downside to this book is the authors use of parenthetical statements. While they are distracting at first, you will get used to them (I assure you). I had a hard time putting it down, and I read it in 2 days. I would highly recommend it to my fellow readers.

Fantastic
This read was one of the better books I have read in a while. I thought it was tremendous. I did not expect all the twists and turns but LOVED it! It had a sweet ending which i loved. Worth the read!

I picked this up on vacation hoping for an easy beach read a long the lines of Sophie Kiinsella or Jennifer Weiner. What I got however, was one of the more annoying and irritatingly written books I have ever read. The style is not breezy but WAY over punctuated and repetitive. And the plot, forget it. So unbelieveable. SKIP IT!

Loved it
I read this shortly after I got married and I loved it b/c I felt a lot like Lauren did with her psycho bride...only I was Lauren and my 'future' in-laws were the psycho bride. I would definately recommend this to anyone dealing with the stress of a wedding and needs something to show them that they're not a PB.

Loved It!
As a girl with incorrigibly curly hair, I related all to well to Lauren's frizzy dilemmas. I loved the way Lockwood breaks the fourth wall and speaks directly to the reader. One review stated the writing style was too annoying and included too many parenthesized statements. I completely disagree. The style is light and refreshing. In addition, the title of the novel contains parenthesis, which I found to be a fitting touch. Lockwood captures the essence of English humor novels with a setting in the good `ole South. Look out Sophie Kinsella! I can¿t wait to explore Lockwood¿s other works. 'I Do (But I Don¿t)' is a wonderful quick read. Enjoy!!

Irritating
Entertaining story line, but found the style in which is was written very annoying. Way too many parenthetical statements, it was a distracting read. It was also so unbelievable as to be absurd.

Hilarious
I loved this book!!! The author wrote in a way that you felt like you were in the situations with the characters, it was funny, sweet, romantic and frustrating because you wanted everything to hurry up and happen. I read it in just a couple of nights, definetely recommend it!

Extremely Funny!
I just could not put this book down! I read it in 3 nights!! I laughed, I cried, I felt as if I was there!! I even gave it to my good friend and she loved it!!

Hilarious! Excellent Fun Reading!
I loved this book! I couldn't stop laughing out loud. Darla's 'wedding' brought tears to my eys from laughing. It was so well written and descriptive that I felt I was there. And Whiskers ... what can I say? Cara Lockwood is talented!

Hilarious!!!!!
I loved it. It had me laugh out loud and even cursed out loud when she got hid in the head. I too am a wedding planner (divorced) so I understood her drama with the weddings. I only hope I can meet a 'Nick'

REALLY A LIKABLE BOOK
I thought this book was witty, fun and a quick read. I read this after a sad dramatic book and thoroughly enjoyed its lighthearted vibe.

Its a Great Book
I liked the book very much, I am very into these type of books. The only problem I had with the book was that it was just too similar to the movie 'The Wedding Planner.' Maybe it it just a coincidence that the book shares the same plot, but it shares some of the same characterization, such as Lauren who is a very organized wedding planner that works for Gennifer, who has been in the business long and did not succeed till Lauren came along. Also the fact that she fell in love with Nick, who is a client resembles the movie. It makes this book look as if it is very unoriginal, if you have seen the movie.

AMAZING!
the book was soo amazing, anyone who enjoys laughing at other peoples misfortunes, then this book is perfect, i fell exactly like lauren right now, i just hope my wedding is as bad as the Tendnaski/Corona wedding.

this book was amazing. it is the perfect summer read. anyone who is looking for a book that they can just read for pure enjoyment this is your book. i felt i could relate to the character so well, and i would give anything to have nick carry me around in his arms!!

I Do...absolutely love it!!!
This is a laugh out loud, tell all your girlfriends kind of book. I could not put it down. The writing is completely refreshing. Everyone can relate to this book because every group of friends has a Lauren, Dianne and a Veronica who are all looking for a Nick!!

A FUN BOOK FOR SUMMER!!
This book was so good. I could not put it down. This book is so easy to get lost in, with the humor and all the drama the main character gets into. I highly reccomend this book to anyone in need of a good laugh.
