    The soul of Janis

Janis Joplin's Kozmic blues album shows where Janis intensity, powerful, emotions could to arrive. Tune like Try, Kozmics Blues, To love somebody, they are soul power pure. Wonderful tune "Little girl blue", it's unbeliavable: words sound like scars. Other nice and precious tune: One good man, Maybe, Work me, Lord - it's incredible -, As good as you've been to this world. A record understood in 1969, today a record to get as soon is possible.

No one ever tried harder than Janis Joplin!

Of Janis Joplin's relatively short catalogue of albums, this one stands out because it explores the sheer range and power of her voice. She really has a great voice, and the pure emotion that she wrings out of her songs comes across clearly. On songs like 'Kozmic Blues,' 'Work Me Lord,' and 'To Love Somebody,' you can feel the emotion and the power as if they were your own. Upon listening to this album, I actually began to mourn the fact that Janis is no longer with us. She was a phenomenal singer and I think that this was her best studio effort. Though an outcast, she never gave up. (It don't make no difference babe, no no no no,cuz you know I can always try!)-Kozmic Blues. Truly, there are no words to describe her.
