WOW!!! Bella Andre does it again with another incredible story from the Sullivan Family. Sophie and Jake's love for one another is so amazing. I got drawed in at the very beginning and could not put it down till I was finished. The saga of the Sullivan Family just keeps getting better and better. The love, support and dedication that this family has for each other is amazing. I can't wait to read about Zach, but I'm really waiting for Smith's book (he's very interesting). If you have not read about the Sullivan family they are a must read.

It's early into 2012 but this book just got pushed to the top of my list for Best Books read. It's a must read....

OK

It was a good Sullivan book but not one of the better ones. I liked the story line though and the steamy romance was great.

Excellent ~~ Smokin' Hot Romance ~~

    Received this eARC from NetGalley.

This book was fantastic. I thought Bella couldn’t top her Hot Shot series, which I loved...she did. Jake McCann, is smoking' hot, flawed as hell, with secrets from his past that he keeps secret from. Mallory is the perfect heroine, filled with compassion and lust for Jake—a crush since she was 5. I can't say enough good things about this book, other than I’m glad there are other installments, because you're going to love the Sullivan family (including Jake) and want to bring them home with you, and you're going to fall madly in love with Jake and Sophie’s story. Another winner for Bella.

I haven’t yet read the first 3 installments but, I just added them to my cart. I suggest you do the same.

    Disappointing

I've got to say I was really disappointed after reading this book. The beginning had me excited but as I continued reading, Sophie's character just came across as desperate. I'm all for fighting to get what you want but she was so desperate in this book! I wish the story would have been different, I wish Jake would have pursued her more.

    Kinda lame...

The problem with books in a series, sometimes, is that authors spend so much time catching the reader up on what happened in other books that they don't spend enough time crafting the characters and story line for the current book. That problem definitely occurred in a big way with this book. Whenever the Sullivan characters whose stories were told in books 1-3 of the series were mentioned, they had these awful, repetitive phrases tacked on. A paraphrase: Gabe Sullivan, who in the last book met and fell in love with some lady and her daughter... and that line gets mentioned every time he appears in this story. Frankly, it gets a bit old. I got a bit of a kick comparing it to Homer's epics and the repeated references to the wine-dark sea and the horse-taming Trojans but not enough of a kick to make this book truly enjoyable.

The story between the two main characters falls a little flat, and not enough care or time was taken to develop their emotional journey throughout the story. There was some sweetness to it, and I lasted until the end (always a good sign), but my overall opinion was: eh, so so.
