Super vampire romance
He¿s running from his captors in the Arizona desert when vampire Marcus Cage stumbles upon Josephine Elliot who is camping there. She is a sensitive empathic pilot struggling to cope from a crash that killed five passengers. A crazed Marcus, weakened from the drugs he was forced to take and the rays of the sun thinks running into Jo is a miracle. Marcus drinks Jo¿s blood until she becomes unconscious. Marcus needs to protect his Breed, but he also believes that meeting Jo is a miracle because she is his soulmate............................... Marcus keeps her captive until he realizes that Jo being with him is dangerous to her so he walks out on her. The local sheriff persuades her that Marcus is crazy and needs to be found for his own protection. She finds him, but they are handed over to the Patron and his followers at a top secret laboratory. They want the secret of immortality and thinks Marcus can give it to them. When the vampire gets over being angry at Jo for leading his enemies to him, they work together to find a way to escape............................ Flat, sizzling and erotic are only some of the words that describe the relationship between the vampire and the empath. The author is so good at world-building that readers find themselves believing that vampires are living in this world hiding in plain sight. There is a lot of action in I THIRST FOR YOU but it is the characters who make this vampire romance such a compelling and enthralling reading experience that it will satiate readers thirst for a tale with a bite.............................. Excellent!
Jo was exactly who Marc needed; her mind called to him. However, that did not mean she would be happy about being the one he needed. When Marc 'rescues' her, Jo would call it kidnapping. He refuses to honor her vegetarian wishes, keeps a close eye on her, and won't even call her Jo, but insists on Josephine. Still, there is something about him that is incredible. She is drawn to him against her will. Just when she begins to lose herself to him, Marc uses all his self control and sends her away. .......................... That was his biggest mistake. It only takes a short time for the scientists who are looking for Marc to capture Jo and con her into betrayal. They want to use Marc to create immortality for a rich old dinosaur, and if Jo is the key to Marc, then they'll use her too. Caged together, love, lust, fear and anger run amok. No matter how Marc wants to hate Jo, he can't, any more than she can truly fear him. To escape, they will need each other, and a little help from friends. The future of all vampires depends on them. If they fail, vampires will be hunted down as lab bats. ............................ ***** The action in 'I Thirst for You' takes off on page one and doesn't really slow down until the end. Passion simmers until it explodes. No shortcuts are taken, making the world realistic in every way. This is the kind of book both sexes can enjoy, full of romance and action both, making for a balanced plot. *****

Just what I hoped.
I had read some negative reviews about this book, but am glad I ignored them. They are totally unjustified. I knew the short excerpt I'd read couldn't be a fluke. I was caught by the top of the third page, and couldn't escape until I'd read the last titillating paragraph. Some say it might be a tad 'raunchy', but I disagree strongly. Passionate, ravishing, yes. Most definitely. Tiny negatives: I didn't like the vague explanations about the vampire hierarchy, but there are more books in the series that I'm sure will explain more thoroughly, so that's alright. It just makes me want to read the others even more, and find out everything. ^.^ Also, I didn't think Jo fought against the craving to drink Marcus' blood strongly enough. Things moved a bit fast once they were in the compound together, but that's alright too. It's still an overall great book. I would buy it.

A reviewer
If you're looking for a book thats not over dramatic, easy to read and doesn't drag on this is the book for you. Its more suited for a TV programme than a novel. Although the author isn't particularly a favourite of mine this book was okay however, i have read better. I Thirst for You is the first book in the series and as you read through each novel you will come to realise that the characters are all connected somehow. Pick up this book and give it a try, if you like it or just to satisfy your curiosity you'll read the rest. ENJOY!!!

Good Book
This was a nice book for those who like non-sexual romance books for a vampire. i like the story line and the characters, but it was full of surpries when he kidnaps Jo and immediately takes a shower with her and plants a big kiss on her. kind hard to accept when he sucked her blood and then has sex with her and gives her a big hug. it was a slow read but i did enjoy it.

AWSOME
I loved it so much I have read it so many times. I can't put it away because I love the story of Marcus and Jo. I hope she finishes the story about them because that would be so cool.

Interesting
The book does not have a direct connection to I Burn for You.. It mentions something from that book like 2 times.. It was not the over whelming read but it was good none the less.. I was not totally disappointed in the book just the lack on connection between this book and the other one.. other then that it was a great read..
