    Does not work

I have a nook tablet and this does not work. I tried to touch the links and it would not advance to the page. The toolbar to highlight text pop up on the bottom of the page. Shame I really wanted to try this.

    Amazing.

I finished it in one sit. So many endings! When I survived the zombie apocalypse, I opened a random page and continued from there!

Infected appeals to both the remnants of the 4th grader inside of me who would tirelessly pour through 4th grade level choose-your-own-adventure-books but also to the supposed "adult" version of me that enjoys the intelligence, dark humor, and creative twists found within. Centered around a Zombie apocalypse - which, let's face it, we're all fascinated by and love to think about it and make cute little movies and ebooks about even though it's almost certainly right around the corner - Infected tells a story (or many, really) in a familiar setting that still feels fresh, in which you are forced with decisions on how best to survive, which may or may not involve some questionable morality and will definitely challenge you and piss you off (in a rewarding way) when you die and have to rewind.

The Most Fun I've Had Reading A Book In A Long Time

Well I’ll be damned. I just might not survive the zombie apocalypse, at least if anything James Schannep says is right. I kept trying, I died like seven times. And it was completely awesome (and different!!) every time!

If you are a fan of God games or old school choose your path games, this is definitely the game for you. Gilgazyme is the new anti-aging gene therapy that’s all the rage! Do you take it or not?

I tried several different paths in this book. I took the therapy, and I didn’t on other times. I infiltrated the big pharm Resident Evil style (and ended up pushing up daisies…). I bugged out, I bugged in. I made friends, I declared war on everyone. Every single adventure I went on was completely awesome!

This book was a lot of fun! I hadn’t read anything like this before on my kindle, and it was perfect. Each time it was a short read, which I think mostly was my fault at times haha.

And to sum it up, one thing we should keep in mind:

“Your bragging, both in person and online, to anyone who would listen will be your undoing.”

    Oh yeah. That’s me.

A Zombie Apocalypse Like No Other!

I often wondered what it would be like to survive the hordes of the undead. Naturally, I sought out zombie genre movies with the intent of satisfying the curiosity. While entertained, I often found myself baffled by the irrational decision making of the main characters. What makes you think attracting them is a GOOD idea?! Video games like "Left 4 Dead" are fun but oftentimes lacked an interesting plot as most are just an excuse to satiate a blood lust against the apocalyptic demons.

Then I found "Infected." This revolutionary eBook let me make decisions with the simple ease of just clicking on a link. Even more gratifying was the realism of the choices being made. The author has created a world not unlike the one we live in today and has given the reader realistic choices that many would face in a fictional world where zombies become real (unless you live in Florida because they apparently they do exist there). You get to test your survival instinct and see if you have what it takes to keep the human race alive. As much as you'd like to take on the horde with the "expertise" you've learned battling them on an XBox, in reality you serve coffee or crunch numbers; skills not very useful when surrounded by 30 zombies intent on getting a taste.

Get "Infected" today! The book is addicting you'll find yourself making promises to go back and explore other possible story lines when you finish. Of course, if you're anything like me, that "finish" will come much sooner because you just marched into the death grips of a hungry eater of the living.
