    Great Tribute to a Great Hero

    This biography for children is a touching tribute to Israel's first astronaut, Ilan Ramon. It is full of details of his life, from childhood on. Stone captures Ramon's generous and enthusiastic spirit. She details his early training, his life as a fighter pilot, and the Ramon family's move to Texas to enter NASA training for the shuttle mission. The book is also filled with photographs of Ramon, some with his family.
