    more from this reviewer

Maybe one day we will understand why people have the urge to kill

I was impressed with the writing of this book. you were able to read all the sides of the story and it made it easy to follow on which person you were reading about . You just wanted to keep reading to see what was going to happen next. It is still hard to understand why some people turn out the way they do but I dont think anyone will ever understand why people have the urge to KILL ANYONE OR ANYTHING

    A Basic True Crime Book

I've seen the author on numerous true crime TV programs and he is very knowledgeable. However, his writing leaves something to be desired. He uses sentence fragments for emphasis to excess. Being a grammar queen, it gets very irritating, though I understand his point in using them. He just uses them too many times and it makes it hard to read in places. Having said that, it is an interesting case and I enjoyed Phelps' personal insight on the killer.

    Great book!

This is the third book that i have read by this author and while this book probably is a little too detailed in parts, it is a fantastic book. If you like going in depth with a serial killer, read this book!

    Great book

This is my 8th book written by Phelps......very well written, another monster where he should be. I think of all these true crime books i read all the time, and i have dreams/nightmares about some, i feel for the victims and their families......

    Hard To Follow

I usually enjoy Mr. Phelps books, but this one was very hard to follow, and about mid-way, I stopped reading it. I'm not even sure it deserves 2-stars.
