    I love this book!

I'd been checking this book out at the library and browsing it at the book store for months before I finally bought it. It is such an excellent resource for all sorts of meals and dishes. There fast and easy dishes as well as those with longer lists of ingredients and more complicated cooking methods.

Great format and attractively presented, but it's British

I was sold on the book because of it's very attractive format and the promise of some interesting twists on fast cooking, using leftovers in different ways and mulitple quick-cook variations on basic ingrediants (like a chicken). However, after studying it more carefully it becomes evident that the British origin of the book makes a lot of it not valuable. For example, there are ingrediants that I've never heard of or are not available here. And there is a certain point of view that is simply too foreign not to appeal to the American palate; it is not foreign in a good way like, for example, French or Italian. Still, it's a useful addition and every recipe has a photo of the finished dish, which is helpful.
