Great for anyone! Would make a great gift!
This is a great book full of hilarious stories from Sarah Smiley's life. Though it often relates the trials and tribulations of being a military spouse, I think it's a good read for anyone. I like that the essays are short and easy to read, so it's like sitting down with a friend who tells you funny anecdotes from her daily life. Sarah Smiley is a great author. I love all her work!

I'm Just Saying: A Collection of Essays
I absolutely loved this book! I have already encouraged all of my friends to read it and I think anyone and everyone can enjoy it. The book consists of stories that are from Sarah's life and are entertaining, downright hilarious, and touching at times as well. I am a military wife and I loved the stories that left me saying 'yes! that's right!' But, it also would appeal to anyone, military or not. Most of the stories are just daily happenings that everyone can relate to and smile at. I read Sarah's column long before the book came out and I love everything that she writes. This book would be the perfect present to any mother, sister, daughter that may have some tie to the military as well as to anyone that has a good sense of humor. Buy it!

I'm Just Saying: A Collection of Essays
I absolutely loved Sarah's book. I found myself laughing so much as I read it and it never ceased to bring a big smile to my face each time that I read it. If I had to choose a book that I would willingly read over and over again and not get tired of, this would be it. I definitely know I am buying it as a christmas present for a lot of my family/friends. Everyone needs more laughter in their life and Sarah's ability to take life's daily happenings and turn them into hilarious encounters will never cease to be refreshing and bring laughter.

I'm Just Saying: A Collection of Essays
My daughter, a military wife, introduced me to this book and I will say that it is one of my favorites. It is a book that you can pick up and read a few stories and set it down and pick up again in 2 weeks and be fine. Great for busier lifestyles. Plus, I am not a military wife and I love the book and still find myself relating to Sarah and all of her hilarious adventures/tales. Perfect for anyone and definitely a must read for anyone and everyone with a sense of humor.

Refreshing and hilarious
I've been a fan of Sarah's columns for years, and it's nice to have them all in one place (I thought I had kept decent track of her work, but there are a few in here that I discovered I missed!). Sarah's essays are always refreshing, never overbearing. In a day and age where our fighting forces are at the forefront of newspaper headlines, it's a pleasant change to see that the lives of military families here at home aren't that different from everybody elses. If you're a fan of good, clean (but certainly honest) observational humor, this is a great little tome that will, at the very least, give you something to talk and think about.

Great fun for mother's and daughters to read together
When I finished reading 'I'm Just Saying', I left the book lying on the coffee table in the living room and after a few days I realized it was missing. I finally found it lying next to my teenage daughters bed. We started talking about some of the accounts of Sarah Smiley and her family which ultimately led to a hilarious comparison of the goings on in our family life. This book is something that so many people can relate to and enjoy. I just gave a copy to my mom and I can't wait to sit down with a cup of coffee and discuss it with her!
