I really liked this book. It was a short read, but it was written really well. I enjoyed that it was quick and didn't have huge tension or misunderstandings keeping the couple apart. Not to say the couple didn't have it's share of hurdles to cross. It was a book I looked forward to reading. I look forward to reading more from this author.

An enjoyable read. A blind man and a scarred woman find happiness together. In this charming short story, E.A. West brings together two people whose love for each other enables them to see beyond defects and embrace life. A little bit of humor at Highland Games in Indiana (haggis, 'nuf said), a faithful service dog and a cousin who speaks first/thinks later add depth to this heart-warming story.

A great reminder that beauty is more than appearances.
