Great companion story!

As always, Ms. Bischoff's imagination and storycrafting is amazing. I especially loved the family element and how the kids resisted NIAC oppression.
Of course, there was some humor, some romance, some sarcasm, and some general butt-kicking, which made the story that much more enjoyable.
Side note: cameo!
Yes, Impulse Control is short. It's not supposed to be long, or even medium-length; it wouldn't be a SHORT STORY if it was. And besides, it's free! This story is supposed to add a little bit of insight to the Talent world, and maybe! give some background to characters/situations that will appear in the regular series in the future.
Definitely worth reading, possibly more than once.
Can't wait for Heroes Under Siege!!

Good story

This story was good, but had bad language which in my opinion is not presentable in a great book. This could have been amazing but the writer used bad language and did not take the store to the point where it could have been taken.

Interesting world with new spin on paranormal

At this stage it's difficult to come up with original twists on the paranormal, vampires are thick on the ground and weres and shifters too. This novella introduces a dystopian, contemporary vision for YA that lovers of Uglies, etc. by Scott Westerfeld will enjoy.

    Good Book

It was pretty good, but kind of short. I wouldn't consider it a kids book. It' s much more suitable for teens.

    Read this before Hush Money.

I actually read Hush Money first...so I expected more from this book. It's still decent and I can't wait for more books about the talents.

    Interesting novella

80 pages of content. Children with special abilities are being held in a high- security government facility, where they are trained to control their powers. Romance and some action. Well- written. Very few errors. I am neutral towards this book, although it does keep me interested. - Dancingkitten

Ethan and friends are in the NAIC school where they learn to control their superhuman talents. But all is not as it is broadcast.

A vivid, action packed narrative drives the characters through their learning, development, and mystery. Characters develop some in this story with the promise for more in future episodes.

    Overall, a fun read.
