    not worth the money

i did not like this book at all. when i picked it up, i thought it might be a good book. it wasn't- i couldn't even get through the first few chapters! the movie was equally disappointing. the characters are unoriginal- rose is the typical fat brainiac who has no life other than work, maggie is the pretty skinny ditzy wannabe-celeb little sister. seydelle is the stereotype evil cinderella stepmom. the book was slow and dull and the plot was so predictable and not original it isn't funny. girls save yourself the money and forget this book!

    a disappointment(??)

I was forced to read this book because it was my book club selection. I didn't expect great things from it but this book really didn't prove me wrong at all. I felt the book was unnecessarily wordy. There were at most 5 pages in the whole book worth reading that added anything to the plot of the story. Also, it lacked character development. We're supposed to believe that these two sisters' outlook on life changed just because it changed? The author forgot to include the readers in the process of this change. I guess I wasn't disappointed. I don't expect much from novels in this genre anyway.

Not a Favorite Not even close.

Compared to Good in bed I thought this was boring as could be. The characters werent memorable. I don't know what went wrong when writing this book. This book turned me off from reading for a while. I dont suggest you read it.
