    Wonderful Compliation

Great book. Everything one could want in a book our honoring Lincoln's 200th Birthday is here. The copies of his speeches in his own hand a very nice extra touch. Harold Holzer, in my opinion, may be the #1 Lincoln scholar of our time and with this book he hits a home run.

Reading Lincoln speeches in this format any brings up what a outstanding writer Lincoln was---excellent enjoyable book. Even in the over saturated Lincoln book market this one stands out.

    Unique and educational

One of a kind. Seeing Lincoln's thoughts committed to paper, including the scratch-outs, is almost eerie. A welcome addition to the library of any reader interested in history.
