Another flop

A door knob is a door knob no matter how many pages you take to discribe. It read like fluff no meat. Wont read any more of her books

    Good Series

Love the Cynster series. This one has a great deal more "fluff" in it then I remember being in past books. Many of the characters and couples from the past are heard from again in this novel. Look forward to reading the next book in the series.

    Check this out!

Latest in the Cynster series, this book follows the previous plot loosely and continues to draw you in. You are still left wondering who the mysterious laird is, but, you feel for him also as you learn more about him. Great read as expected from Stephanie.

More of the same ... More of the same...

It is difficult to criticize a book for being exactly the same as another when talking about romance. After all I read this genre for the formula it follows. Part of the fun of genre fiction is seeing how a master of the craft manipulates the elements to create a surprising freshness within the common expectations. Sadly, lately Laurens' work has failed to discover that freshness. I will continue reading her books though, if only for the hope that she will once again surprise and delight.
