    Intriguing! Dynamic!

Erin McKenzie is handed the undercover assignment of a lifetime. Going after the major suspect in a series of murders. Elizabeth Adams, rich, aloof and mysterious seems to be the number one suspect. The one kink in the assignment Erin soon learns is that Elizabeth is a lesbian. Erin is not. Nevertheless, she takes the assignment and sets out to learn all she needs to know to ¿put on a convincing show.¿ Aiding her in her assignment is a team of detectives ¿ one who, it seems, has her own agenda as far as Elizabeth Adams is concerned. What agenda and what impact could it have on the investigation? Unexpectedly, Erin finds herself with an attraction to Elizabeth and Elizabeth seemingly to her. Can Erin trust herself to maintain focus and stay on course or will Elizabeth¿s undeniable charm make her falter? As Erin and Elizabeth spend more and more time together Erin begins to question whether the police are on the right track in suspecting Elizabeth Adams. Especially when someone from one of the women¿s past enters into the fray. Someone neither the police nor Elizabeth would have ever suspected. The huge question now forming in everyone¿s mind - what do they have to do with Elizabeth Adams? And why does it all have Erin now questioning whether she is indeed ¿faking it¿ as a lesbian or if she has just been denying her sexual identity all these years? This first offering from what has turned out to be a dynamic author takes the reader traveling along a road full of mystery and romance. Ronica Black has penned a novel of dynamic intrigue, mysterious suspects and dramatic circumstance. From start to finish In Too Deep captures the reader and doesn¿t let go until the unexpected ending! Her upcoming novel, Wild Abandon, can only be another dynamic book from a truly talented writer.

This story was a great example of a coming of "age" so to speak straight woman. It kept me engaged throughout! I could not put this book down. I would totally recommend this book to anyone.
