Troubling, emotional and painful.
Okay, first off, I have to say that the characters are fascinating, as is the glimpse of modern American life that I hopefully will never experience first hand. Mikal is sympathetic, and it is the mark of a good author that I found myself feeling sympathetic to the skinheads. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. That being said, I disliked this book. It could just be that it's outside of the genre that I generally read. It was confusing how the point of view occasionally switched from Mikal to Sherry, and the "Love Conquers All" story does't seem to fit with the tone of the book. Also, I'm not terribly sure what the title has to do with anything, and I'm not willing to re-read it to find out.
